As much as I want to look forward to the Last Evolution film later this year that's supposed to wrap the entire Adventure series up, another part of me will never forget how the Tri films really didn't hold up all that well. Those six films presented way more questions than they answered.

You know someone failed hard when the fan dubbed trailer with the Digi Rap was more nostalgic. This was just painful to watch. The theme song should be all about nostalgia of Saturday mornings; especially for the 20-somethings who are going to be buying tickets to see this.

Another fanmade trailer that's ten times better than the official one.

One of those times when a fanmade trailer absolutely destroys what the studio puts out, because this got me hyped for Tri like nothing else has.

Toei, this is what you need to do, and Saban, I pray you license this for dubbing, because I grew up with dub, and couldn't get into the sub version.

And yeah, they used the rap, but it wasn't horridly overused like it was in that absolute abomination of a movie.

I couldn't believe it either.

The first chapter of Digimon Adventure tri. is indeed coming overseas, with a limited one-night theatrical release event on September 15th, before a wide release; I'm guessing digitally and perhaps physical media.
